What’s good y’all?? Uncle Jack here with another post to enhance your closets. Recently I have started wearing suits every Thursday. This trend started in my Art of Music Education class. Sometimes we would go visit local middle and high school music classes and go observe them. On these observations we would have to dress professionally(which is my specialty) Even when we wouldn’t have a visit I would still find myself in a suit every Thursday. Pretty soon I just decided that I would wear my suits every Thursday.Having a suit is an integral part of a mans wardrobe. Whenever a man wears a suit it makes him seem more about his business. A well fitted suit speaks volumes. It’s very important to know your measurements before buying a suit. There are also different cuts that you can buy such as regular, slim fit, skinny etc. It’s important to know what size you are so you can look your very best. Having a couple suits to pick from can create a variety of looks
If a man doesn’t have anything else, he must own a black suits. They are the pillar of mens fashion. It’s a staple piece that you can absolutely NEVER go wrong with🙅🏾♂️I have paired my black suit with numerous combinations but to fit the theme of autumn I decided to pair it with a burgundy turtleneck for some layers. You can never go wrong with black. It goes with almost every color and always makes you look like you’re a man about his business.
Grey is such a warm color to me. It’s not too dark but it’s not too light. I often like to pair my greys with darker colors but sometimes I’ll throw a splash of light colors in there as well. On this day I paired my grey suit with a recent pick up of mine which is a green and gold floral print shirt. It was one of those shirts that I just had to buy. I don’t have a lot of green in my wardrobe so I’m currently trying to diversify it by adding in colors I don’t normally wear. I wanted to accentuate the gold of the flowers in the shirt so I added my bright gold tie and my green lapel flower to bring out the green in the shirt.
Here we see he return of the classic turtleneck and suit combo while also the return of the grey. Suits are very versatile in the sense that you can pair it on top of almost any top you can think of. From button downs to t shirts, any top can change the feel and the look of the same suit. I love the grey and navy blue combo. This specific suit has a built in navy blue handkerchief that you can tuck in and pull out at your leisure. To further accentuate the blue in the handkerchief I paired it with my blue turtleneck and blue lapel flower. Accents are key in a good ensemble. The slightest touch can bring an outfit to life.
Last but not least we have my personal favorite, the blue suit. I call this one my lucky suit because I wore it at my audition for U of M #goblue I love this suit so much because it’s such a versatile color. You can pair blue with almost anything and it will still look good. Today I wanted to wear my suit but also be a little bit more relaxed so I pulled out my crisp white shirt and kept it unbuttoned. I was cool and comfortable for the whole day. Often times guys tell me they don’t like wearing suits because they’re uncomfortable. They’re just not wearing the right kind. Everyone’s body is different so what works for me won’t work for you. You have to find your own style and fit and work around that.
